- Tacoma/Pierce County has the capacity to support capital campaigns as well as all our events.
- Specific and designated events will continue to fund our operations
- DF will continue to depend on sponsorship development and events for its revenues until an endowment base is in place.
- Fur Ball, Woofstock and Happy Howlidays will continue to Foundation signature events
- The Dugan Foundation will retain its current volunteers, grow new volunteers as we grow – attract and retain year over year.
- Current organizations and business support will remain healthy and in continued support of the Foundation.
Governance- Business Leadership of the Foundation. Areas of work in this category require Board of Director approval and include but may not be limited to the following:

Programs– Development and implementation of Foundation Programs for other than fundraising purposes. Work in this category may include but may not be limited to the following:

Fundraising- Development and implementation of Foundation Programs specifically designed for fundraising purposes. Areas of work in this category may include but may not be limit to the following:
- Fur Ball
- Calendar/Notecards
- Grant Solicitations
Capital Projects- Development and implementation and/or funding of Foundation Capital Projects. Areas of work in this category may include but may not be limited to the following:
- Spay Neuter Clinics
- Sanctuary
- Off Leash Parks
